hi, I’M NOELLA

As a current graduate student at the University of Southern California pursuing Public Relations and Advertising, strategy and creativity are most important to me.

I find that beyond the responsibilities of my present and future, my mind is often occupied by stories and ideas.

In this space, I welcome you to take a walk through my map of projects and creations, stopping by landmarks you enjoy.

My passion is people.

To know others is to understand them.

Over time, this passion of mine translated into a love of brands and their relationships with consumers. The invisible string between them that exists and perseveres.

A part of me wishes I could live everywhere all at once and live among different communities all across the globe. To learn every language and know their people by name.

Time used to feel so tangible. Now I am aware of how fickle it is.
Yet I am sure I have so much of it left.

I spend my time taking photos of what inspires me, listening to people I meet and writing their stories in blogs I have committed to.

I am in awe of the symmetry of nature and the asymmetrical truths of humanity.

My life is made of the books I have read and stories I have written.

I am determined to tell countless more…

Sometimes words aren’t quite enough…

From the age of 5, I have played the violin, completely transformed by music and the way it communicates – its determination to speak to humanity despite its inability to talk. Through the British Royal Academy, I have passed my musical skills, performance, and theory exams, playing for now 17 years.

I have played solo, in orchestras, and in duets, all while being completely transfixed by the power of music and steadily learning to understand its language.

My life has been split into two halves.
North London and Los Angeles.

Born and raised in England, so much of my heart still lives there. From tutors and teachers who pushed me to think and learn, the instruments I have studied, and my love for football (London is blue if you ask me) and other sports, I was always encouraged to dream.

My days were filled with piles of books, pages and pages of my own written stories, tree climbing, and berry picking in the back garden.

Perhaps it was because I was physically small, but the world felt so massive. I felt like I could fly if I really tried, and at the age of 11, my family and I moved to Los Angeles, where my dreams felt so tangible.

Feeling quite settled here, I am reaching and pursuing projects and dreams. The world I am a part of – always moving, and in that, I never feel left behind.
